Gary is an Advisor to a number of startups including ToyTalk, Directly, SnapGuide, Evolv and Jelli. He is a Board Member of Automatic Labs. He served as the Chief Creative Officer of Nuance until 2015, the VP Speech Strategy at Yahoo!, and the Chief Creative Officer of Tellme. As the Founder of Clayton Multimedia, he oversaw the first music recordings at Lucas Film’s Skywalker Ranch. In 1989, he received a Grammy nomination for Best Engineered Popular Recording.
